The therapeutic powers of play and the Seminal Play Therapy Theories are the “building blocks” of play therapy.
 
This training offers an exploration of historically significant and seminal play therapy theories that form the foundation of various play therapy practices through the lens of the therapeutic powers of play.
 
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic powers of play  including the theories and conceptual frameworks they are associated with, techniques, and applications in clinical settings.
 
The training is designed for mental health professionals, including counselors, therapists, and social workers, who wish to enhance their theoretical knowledge and practical skills surrounding play therapy.

We recognize that circumstances may change, and should you need to cancel your workshop reservation, please email us at kate@kindredcollectivecomo.com at least 7 days prior to the workshop start date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made later do not qualify for a refund but will be offered the opportunity to transfer their payment to a future workshop. 
 
In the event that we must cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, we will notify you via email at least 5 days in advance and provide options for rescheduling or a full refund. Additionally, unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions or an instructor's family emergency or illness may necessitate a last-minute cancellation. In such instances, we will communicate with you via email before the workshop begins and will follow up within 10 days to offer a new date or the option for a full refund. Our goal is to ensure that your experience with us is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
