MSCC, PLPC, NCC, Play Therapist in Training
Owner of Chickadee Therapy, LLC

Before counseling, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2013. In 2021, she worked as a registered behavior technician with neurodivergent children (ages 3–12) at a multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in DFW. She graduated in May 2025 with a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University, a CACREP-accredited program, and holds the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential, as she actively works toward certification as an APT-Approved Play Therapist.

Callie is deeply committed to supporting the growth and well-being of individuals and families. She actively works with neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD, Autism, or unique sensory experiences, to help them thrive. For those with learning differences, Callie supports self-discovery strategies to unlock their full potential, and improve their adaptability when navigating life's tricky changes. Her focus extends to children aged 4–16, whom she empowers as they navigate big feelings, challenges with focus, and social connections. Callie supports parents and caregivers in fostering stronger family bonds, building communication, and promoting their child's overall growth.

She offers a supportive space for teens and young adults as they explore their identity, relationships, and mental well-being, facilitating pathways for self-discovery. She supports individuals experiencing big feelings like anxiety or sadness, assisting them in developing emotional resilience. Callie empowers individuals facing relationship challenges to build meaningful connections and strengthen their bonds for overall well-being. She accompanies individuals in navigating school-related stressors as they explore effective coping mechanisms and supports those who wish to cultivate confidence by acknowledging their strengths. Callie offers a calm and peaceful presence to individuals experiencing stress or worry, and for those encountering thoughts of self-harm, she provides support in discovering safe ways to cope and nurturing hope. Ultimately, Callie is dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals for a richer life, helping them with impulse control through calm and thoughtful responses, and empowering them to understand and manage their emotional landscape as they navigate different moods and emotions.

When she’s not in session, you can find her reading fiction, watching Ted Lasso and New Girl on repeat, trying her best to play Minecraft with her sons, weightlifting, or convincing her mini schnauzer that he looks handsome in clothes. She loves road trips with her husband and sons, or snuggling up for movie nights. She also finds joy in nature, gentle structure, and intentional self-care — values she tries to bring into the therapy space, too.

Callie is under ongoing supervision of Ashlyn Gautam, M.Ed, LPC-S, Missouri License NO. 2019030961. Callie is undergoing supervision for play therapy with Kate Weir, Ed.S, LPC-S, RPT-S.
