Madison graduated from Stephens College in 2022 with a Master’s of Education in Counseling. She is currently a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of Jan Stock. She is the owner of Madison Burke Therapy, LLC, and practices privately at Kindred Collective.
Madison provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD-related challenges, abuse, trauma, self-esteem, and general life changes. She uses a holistic approach to therapy to suit the needs of the individual. Madison’s work is mainly guided through a person-centered approach, however, other modalities used in treatment may include play therapy, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. Madison’s goal is to guide individuals on a path to a more positive mindset and empower her clients to develop tools to better support themselves using their own unique strengths. Madison is passionate about helping individuals reach their highest potential and assisting families towards living more harmonious and happier lives together.
Other areas of experience include: transitions and adjustments, identity development, parenting skills, and family communication. Additionally, Madison is trained in the evidence-based model to process trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, Madison works with counseling students in Ukraine as a clinical supervisor and a self-care class facilitator with the Association for Psychological Counseling & Trauma Therapy-Ukraine.
Madison Burke Therapy, LLC does not accept insurance currently, but works on a sliding scale for payment.
She practices under the supervision of Jan Stock, LPC-S, Missouri License NO. 001240.
For play therapy certification, Madison practices under the supervision of Kate Weir, EdS, LPC-S, RPT-S, Missouri License NO. 2011039650.
