Policies + Waiver Page

We’re so excited to welcome your child to camp! Below you’ll find everything you need to know before registering. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and joyful experience for every child while keeping expectations clear and simple for families.

Payment + Refund Policy
  • Full non-refundable payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your child’s spot.

  • Early Bird pricing is available through May 1. After this date, full fees apply.

  • If camp is canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

Attendance + Cancellation​
  • No refunds or credits are given for missed days.

  • Make-up sessions are not available.

  • If your child will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible.

Health + Illness Policy

To keep all campers safe:

  • Please keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms.

  • Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning.

  • If a child becomes ill during camp, a parent/guardian will be contacted for prompt pickup.

Safety + Liability Waiver

By registering, you acknowledge that:

  • Your child will participate in activities including movement, outdoor play, and trail walks.

  • While all reasonable precautions are taken, participation involves inherent risks.

  • You release Kindred Summer Camp, its staff, and facilitators from liability related to participation in camp activities.

Emergency + Medical Information

Parents/guardians are required to provide:

  • Emergency contact information

  • Authorized pick-up individuals

  • Allergy and medical information

  • Permission for staff to seek emergency medical care if needed

Behavior + Group Expectations

We strive to create a supportive, respectful environment for all campers.

  • Children are expected to participate in a way that is safe for themselves and others.

​

Drop-Off + Pick-Up
  • Drop-off and pick-up times must be followed to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Only authorized individuals listed on the registration form may pick up your child.

Therapeutic Approach Disclaimer
  • Camp is led by Registered Play Therapists and incorporates social-emotional skill building.

  • However, this is not therapy and does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

  • Camp is not a substitute for clinical services.

​

Communication
  • Primary communication will occur via email (and/or text if applicable).

  • Parents will be contacted directly if any concerns arise during camp.

​

Weather + Outdoor Play
  • Camp includes outdoor activities and trail experiences.

  • Please dress your child appropriately for weather and movement.

  • In cases of severe weather, activities may be adjusted or moved indoors when possible.

​

Snack Policy
  • A healthy snack will be provided each session.

  • Please notify us of any allergies or dietary needs.

  • You are welcome to send an additional snack if preferred.​
