"Expression Sessions" with Jenny McGee

Jenny is thrilled to collaborate with Kindred Collective to provide a creative Expressive Art Space. Jenny is offering 45 minute "Expression Sessions" and is passionate about helping people express their emotions, ambitions and goals through art. Her innovative teaching techniques help others feel more positivity, playfulness and empowerment through art and creativity. She is not a coach or therapist and does not treat or diagnose. She is a professional artist and will give you the tools, encouragement, guidance and techniques to effectively express yourself through art.

Jenny McGee has had over 20 years of experience working with art as a modality of healing and expression. She holds a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from Missouri State University and studied under award winning designer/illustrator Mirko Ilić in New York City. She has won several art and design awards and was a member of La Fabri-K, a Salvadoran artists’ collective that was awarded the Premio Ingenio, the nation’s highest artistic award for outreach utilizing art. She also collaborated with a Salvadoran group called Homies Unidos, where she forged relationships with former gang members through shared artistic experiences.
