Art Technique Workshops with Jenny  

Jenny McGee is offering two art technique workshops -- one for a pouring art technique and one for a splatter technique -- that will teach you how to create powerful, expressive abstract art. All materials are included and she takes care of the mess!  

Dates/Times:

Pouring technique 6-8 p.m. March 30 and April 20. 

Splatter technique 6-8 p.m. April 6 and 27.

Mother's Day Craft Popup with Molly   

Moms: Find a husband, family member or other caregiver to bring your kids to create a fun craft for you for Mother's Day. (No, we're not giving away the surprise.) Or bring a book or magazine and hang out in our waiting room with coffee, tea or water -- we'll take care of the kids, the crafts, and the mess.

Tots-Elementary: 11:30-12:15 and 12:15-1 p.m.

Tweens-Teens: 1:15-2 p.m. and 2-2:45  

Cost: $10 per craft with a $5 optional add-on.

Maggie Gonzales

M.Ed, Provisional LPC, Play Therapist in Training 

Maggie graduated from the University of Missouri in 2014 with her undergraduate degree in Psychology and minors in Social Justice, French, and Multicultural Studies. Maggie then graduated from Stephens College in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Counseling. She is completing her licensure supervision along with her supervision to become a Registered Play Therapist under Kate Weir at Kindred Collective! Maggie plans to pursue her yoga certification beginning January of 2019, with hopes of incorporating yoga into her counseling practice. 

Currently, Maggie works as an Admissions Counselor at Stephens College and is the owner of Maggie Gonzales Counseling, LLC, practicing privately at Kindred Collective. Maggie provides individual therapy for children, teens, and adults. Maggie has a background in anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjusting to changing life events. Maggie’s passion with counseling integrates mind, body, and spirit. She is person centered in her work and incorporates mindfulness and meditation into her counseling. Maggie supports a holistic approach to counseling, looking at multiple factors that may be contributing to the present situation. Maggie also loves to incorporate play techniques to help children express themselves and heal.
